A web-based version of “Self-learning Kit on Breastfeeding for Health Professionals” and the supplementary chapter on Mother-Friendly Childbirth Care & Breastfeeding has been launched by Department of Health (DH).

Access to the web version of the Kit is password protected by using an institution based user name and password provided by DH.

For health professionals who wish to apply the Continuing Professional Development points from relevant professional organisations, please submit the completed pre- and post-assessments of the BF Kit by email to breastfeeding.fhs@dh.gov.hk
 

Apart from the BF Kit, DH has also developed health education resources for use by health professionals to inform pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and their families about infant feeding during the consultation.
